Frequently asked questions

Unfortunately, this is not possible. However, we have our SSD LXC vServer on offer for this. There you get your own IPv4 address from our own RIPE area.
For our cloud servers, we only offer Linux, as they are based on the virtualization method LXC, which Windows does not support. There are many good tutorials on youtube, where you can learn the basics of Linux with little time.
It depends very much on what you intend to do. Our SSD LXC vServers are based on LXC, so you can - for example - not use kernel extensions. In comparison to our old SSD cloud servers, the use of Docker is possible, since lxc uses a 4.X kernel. Thanks to LXC, there are almost no use cases where a KVM vServer is necessary. Furthermore, our SSD LXC servers impress with their outstanding performance due to the used SSDs.
Naturally! You can always reinstall your server with one of the available operating systems.
Of course, we have our own area in our customer center. There you can set an entry for all addresses.
