Linux OS Versions

Linux operating systems and their support status

We offer a large selection of operating system versions for our Linux vServer. In the following tables you will find all information about the offered operating systems as well as the support status (LTS / EOL) of the individual versions.

Explanation of Terms

End of Life (EOL): If an operating system is EOL, this means that security updates and new functions are no longer provided. The operation of such a version can therefore be described as negligent. There are always new security gaps that need to be remedied promptly. With such a version, this is no longer the case. You should therefore always keep your systems up to date and upgrade if necessary.

Long Term Support (LTS): If an operating system is called LTS, it will be supported and maintained longer than usual. In Ubuntu, for example, such a version usually appears every 2 years.
